Christmas Sessions are finished!
Here are some images from my very last holiday session of 2008. I'm sad to say (no not really) that the mad rush of holiday sessions have now come to a close! Everyone should have there cards (and probably should have mailed them out by now!)I will be taking a "break" until the middle of January, but will continue to book sessions. I'm going to be making some changes to my site, so be on the lookout in the future! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I love the holidays but...
I love the Christmas season as much as the next guy, but for some reason this year I've hit my stress limit! I saw this commercial and it totally cracked me up! I couldn't think of a better way to describe my current frame of mind! Enjoy!!

Why I do what I do...
As most of you know, I am an affiliated photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. This organization provides professional photography services to families who are experiencing the loss of a child, at no charge. I am so blessed to be part of this organization. I am often asked," how do you do this...it's so sad." Well, I couldn't agree more... it is very sad. I am watching these families go through what is probably one of the most painful moments in their lives. It's a very helpless feeling. One thing that I have to remind myself every time I get THAT call from the hospital is- I can't change anything that is happening to these families. I can't stop their child from passing away or bring their precious angel back. I can, however, help document the connection between these grieving families and their child. These images of their final moments together can be a treasure that families can keep with them forever. It is an honor to photograph these angels and help begin the healing process for their loved ones left here on earth. Having shared this special bond, I hold these children and their families very close to my heart.

We're Blogging!!
Yes, yes...I know this is way overdue. I finally got my act together and did it. I can't promise that I will be the best blogger but this will hopefully give you an idea of the crazy things going on in my world!
On a business note- holiday sessions are IN SESSION! Yes, I know it's only September, but please remember these sessions do fill up quickly and I am only doing holiday shoots (cards included) until the first week of December. I'll have more on that later ;)
